Affordability: Fees went up, not down. While families tighten their belts, Torres helped raise fees on Stanton businesses and residents. He made life more expensive, not more affordable.
Homelessness: Tens of millions of your tax dollars has been spent on homeless and there still is no plan to address or eliminate homelessness in Stanton. There are supposed to be zero homeless in our small town.
Prostitution: Has not created any plan to stop prostitution along Beach Blvd. There are supposed to be zero ladies for sale on our streets.
Trash Fee: We now pay nearly twice as much for trash compared to Westminster and Midway City.
More Businesses Closed: As costs rise and fees increase businesses along Beach Blvd. are shutting down or moving away. Homeless and prostitutes scare customers away. Torres has done nothing to stop the bleeding or support Stanton businesses.

Tent City In Our Parks
The GKN Aerospace crissis evacuated nearly everyone from the city including the homeless... the homeless were let back in the city within days.
For many years Donald Torres watched our parks become unmaintained and unsafe for the families who pay taxes to use them.
Allowed homeless to live and take over our parks making it undesirable for children and families to play in our parks.
Would you let your child play in a park that's become a homeless encampment?

Now the picnic benches at this picnic area have been torn out making this area unusable.
If the park next to city hall cannot be kept clean, usable, and crime-free then how can Donald Torres keep the rest of the city clean, usable, and crime-free?
Human Trafficking
Recent accomplishment: Increased the residential trash fee. Now our trash fee is about double compared to nearby Los Alamitos.
Hookers, homeless, businesses closing... as we can see, our small town continues to slip into the wrong direction and no plan to turn it around. Thank you Donald Torres!

Utility tax ignored: Removing Stanton's 5% tax on utilities would immediately decrease electric bills by 5%, but he is not working on that.
Adding to cost-of-living burdens: Contributing to high rents, high inflation, high population density, and high cost of living.
Fees increased without voter approval: Increasing fees on businesses and residents without a vote of the people.

No tax relief: Has done nothing to decrease taxes for residents or businesses.
No mention of closed businesses: Not addressing the many businesses shutting down or moving away along Beach Blvd.
No mention of park repairs: Not working on repairing and reopening Stanton parks.
Ignoring biggest quality-of-life issues: No plan for homelessness, prostitution, closed businesses, or closed parks — completely ignoring the issues affecting every resident and business.
