12/29/2025 Beach And First Street
Notice the sign up on the post.
Looks like Stanton's "Safe Streets Together: United Against Exploitation campaign" is still struggling to create a real plan to get the ladies off the streets.
Saw these ladies getting ready to cross Beach Blvd. over to Beach and First street.
First street is one of the hottest spots in Stanton these days. Day and night.
As usual, in the photo there are no Anti-Trafficking Advocates or Victim Services Providers on Beach Blvd. or First Street.. no cops... just ladies.
Hong Alyce Van: Guilty Plea Confirmed
Our former council member Hong Alyce Van plead guilty to filing fraudulent nomination papers according to the OC Register.
She was sentenced to 1 year Probation and 160 hours Community Service with other charges being dismissed. You can verify this public record directly by searching the Orange County Courts website: https://visionpublic.occourts.org and use case number 25WF0136.
Our former council member was accused of moving out of her district (about a year after being elected) but continued to represent her former district.
Hong Alyce Van received a city salary and benefits for the years she served after the alleged residency change. While the prosecution did not pursue charges related to compensation, it raises a significant public policy question:
Should accepting public money while allegedly failing to meet the eligibility requirements for a council seat be considered theft of public funds or misuse of public resources? We, the taxpayers, deserve clarity on the city's process for recovering such funds.
Records indicate that Council Member Carol Warren, Council Member John Warren (Parks Commissioner at that time), and former Council Member Brian Donahue resided close to Hong Alyce Van's reported new home. While Brian Donahue has not been on the city council in a while he was in a leadership position for at least 2 major non-profits in our city during that time.
Council Member Victor Barrios publicly stated in an interview with the Anaheim Observer that he was aware Hong Alyce Van had moved, and he noted that other city employees were also aware of the situation.
This public confirmation of awareness among city leadership leads to serious questions about public accountability:
Why were these officials/leaders, who were geographically close and, in some cases, politically aligned, silent on a matter of elected official eligibility?
Why did no council member or city staff member with knowledge of the alleged residency change inform the public or contact the District Attorney’s office to clarify the eligibility status?
Why did this situation require external investigation rather than an internal, transparent correction by those who had the information?
The issue remains that a city official was able to vote on city issues, sign government documents, and accept public money for years while questions about her eligibility existed among certain city personnel.
When key information like a council member’s residency is reportedly known by multiple officials and staff but is not disclosed to the public for years, it fundamentally damages the public's trust.
All these people were willing to hide something as important as this from us for so long it makes one wonder... what else are they hiding from us?
Stanton's Drone Program
Did you receive a check from Stanton city hall? The City of Stanton implemented a high-tech drone program to issue fines against illegal fireworks violators, citing the need to enforce safety regulations. However, for years, it has been us residents of Stanton who have directly endured the noise and safety risks caused by these illegal acts.
When will the residents of Stanton, who have suffered the most significant impact from these long-standing violations, receive the fine revenue collected by the city's drone program to compensate for the harm we have endured? The fines total nearly one million dollars!
Are more fines coming? Now we are hearing about more drone sightings around our small town. Are these drones part of the Stanton Drone Program being used to give out more fines and generate more revenue?
As I review social media posts about Stanton's Drone Program these are some of the subjects that are trending:
- Drones are being seen more often around our city now
- Drones are seen hovering for long periods of time
- Stanton is just looking for more ways to generate revenue
- Stanton should be using the drones to clean up our city
I first started write about this in October 2025. At that time I saw a couple of drones on October 22, 2025 at 8:56pm which I reported in the October 23, 2025 Save Our Stanton newsletter. Our city manager let me know that they use professional consultants to manage their drones and that she is unaware of the drones that I saw on October 22, 2025 at 8:56pm.
At the end of the day Stanton's Drone Program issued nearly $1,000,000 in fines because you had to put up with the noise and safety risks caused by the city allowing the illegal fireworks for so long. So, shouldn't you, the impacted resident, be the one compensated for the years of noise and safety risks? Don't you deserve the $1,000,000?.

Still Closed...
Stanton city hall will be closed 17 days this month and only open 14 days.
We pay full-time salaries, but they are only doing a part-time job. This isn't just a simple mistake; it's a huge waste of the money we work hard to earn.
The biggest problem is that city hall will close down for the rest of the year without finishing the important jobs they were hired to do.
Look around our town and you can see the results of this unfinished work:
Our parks are closed or ruined, and the facilities closed/broken.
We see serious problems and unsafe areas right in the middle of our neighborhoods...
...Ladies on the streets, open-air drug dens in our neighborhoods...
Do you remember when our city leaders asked us for extra local tax money again and again?
They promised that money would be used to clean up Stanton and make it safer. But that money has only caused prices to go up, businesses closed, and good people lost their jobs.
The clean-up job is still left undone, year after year.
2026 is an election year. This is your chance to change things. If you are upset about waste and lack of progress, please think about running for City Council. We need people who will bring common sense, honesty, and responsibility back to our local government.
Stanton Fashion Show...
Like always, lots of ladies and zero-point-zero-zero cops.
No Anti-Trafficking Advocates or Victim Services Providers, just ladies.
No dead people this time and the woman with a mustache wearing 4-inch high heels walking like a man is not in this one either :(
