Only Open 14 days
Stanton city hall will be closed 17 days this month and only open 14 days.
We pay full-time salaries, but they are only doing a part-time job. This isn't just a simple mistake; it's a huge waste of the money we work hard to earn.
The biggest problem is that city hall will close down for the rest of the year without finishing the important jobs they were hired to do.
Look around our town and you can see the results of this unfinished work:
Our parks are closed or ruined, and the facilities closed/broken.
We see serious problems and unsafe areas right in the middle of our neighborhoods...
...Ladies on the streets, open-air drug dens in our neighborhoods...
Do you remember when our city leaders asked us for extra local tax money again and again?
They promised that money would be used to clean up Stanton and make it safer. But that money has only caused prices to go up, businesses closed, and good people lost their jobs.
The clean-up job is still left undone, year after year.
It is so sad to see so many Stanton residents at the gas station with change from their ash tray... just enough to get a gallon and a half of gas.
The year 2026 is an election year. This is your chance to change things. If you are upset about waste and lack of progress, please think about running for City Council. We need people who will bring common sense, honesty, and responsibility back to our local government.
30 Hours Left
City hall is only open Monday and Tuesday this week.
According to the Stanton facebook page parking enforcement will begin January 1, 2026.
City hall will not be re-opening until January 5th, 2026.
So, if you need a 2026/2027 parking permit... get it now.
Water Comes From The Sky
Water comes from the sky as rain! Mother Nature gives it to us for free. So, if water is free, why does your water bill keep getting bigger and bigger?
Is this some sort of scam?
It seems like they keep finding ways to charge more and more for something that falls right out of the clouds.
