Stanton Fashion Show...
Over this past weekend... lots and lots of ladies on Beach Blvd. Dozens. End of the month, rent is due. How many cops were spotted over the weekend? None. Missing as usual.
You might remember last year when our Stanton city council tried to fool you by having a "community meeting" with lots of talk about the ladies being sex trafficked. I was not fooled by this fake meeting for a single moment which I mentioned in my May 2024 newsletter. I was not fooled because it doesn't require a community meeting to stop crime. And, since our Stanton city council did not create a plan there was nothing to discuss. Remember what I always say, "If there is no plan with a date then it's not real".
Anyway, you don't want to miss this video. You will see lots of ladies on Beach Blvd. Ladies at most of the usual hot spots, parking lots, alleys...
What you will not see... cops. You will see lots and lots of ladies and zero-point-zero-zero cops. You will not see Anti-Trafficking Advocates or Victim Services Providers.
You will see some homeless and one dead guy in the video. You will see the woman that spray paints her face in this video too.
You will not see any Homeless Outreach workers from Stanton city hall in this video.

Stanton city manager Hannah Shin-Heydorn (714) 890-4277
Go look at the Stanton Facebook page. There used to be a monthly post about the status of homelessness in Stanton. It appears that the monthly post has stopped due to the embarrassment of the high numbers and the high yearly costs for Outreach Coordinators has yielded bad results. No plan to addresses the homeless issue or the hookers on Beach Blvd. Completely ignoring Stanton's biggest issues. No mention of the many businesses moving away and no mention of our closed parks. What is our city working on if they aren't working on the biggest quality of life issues that are affecting every resident and every business in our city?

Mayor Dave Shawver: Mayor Shawver has been on the city council for over 35 years and refuses to try to stop prostitution, stands by without a plan and watches homelessness take over our small town for the past 15 years. Mayor Shawver has lead many attempts at raising taxes and fees on the businesses and residents over the past 35 years adding to our high rents, high inflation, high population density, and high cost of living. The best part of Mayor Shawver being in office for the past 35 years is that he can't blame our city's problems on anyone but himself. He brought the homeless to Stanton, did nothing about the ladies on Beach Blvd., destroyed our small town infrastructure with huge apartment buildings when we need local jobs and good jobs for our residents. Keep up the great work Dave!

Oh my... It looks like Councilmember Gary Taylor is cut-n-pasting stuff from CNN and posting it on his Facebook page. Seven years as a Stanton council member and not even trying to work on a plan to stop prostitution or homelessness. Why does he care so much about CNN stuff? Closed businesses up and down Beach Blvd. and high cost of living for all Stanton Residents and all he does it work on raising fees and taxes on YOU and the remaining Stanton businesses. Go look at his Facebook page and see for yourself.
Carl's Jr. Offers $1 Meals Amid Government Shutdown
Participating Carl’s Jr. locations in Southern California are providing $1 meals to those affected by the government shutdown.
This is very nice of Carl's to offer this deal.
Too bad Stanton's homeless Carl's Jr. on Beach and Chapman closed months ago thanks to our Stanton city council. That Carl's drive through was just feet away from the homeless bus bench and getting trapped in the drive through with no way out... no thank you! I can see why it closed... zero-point-zero support from our Stanton city council.
Anyway, click here for more information about $1 meals from Carl's...

Donald Torres on facebook
Go look on Donald's Facebook page to see what he has been up to. Not one mention about a plan to stop prostitution, nothing about Stanton homelessness, nothing about our closed parks... There is one mention about the high cost of electricity in our small town but no plan to do anything real about it. Removing Stanton's 5% tax on our utilities would immediately decrease our electric bills by 5% but he's not working on that. Businesses closing... nothing being done about that. Not working on decreasing local city taxes and instead increasing fees on businesses and residents without a vote of the people. Donald should at least try to do better.
🚨 Beach blvd. Ladies Map
The ladies have moved around a bit over the past year. Many neighborhoods that have never had a problem with cars driving through their neighborhood all day and night have the problem now.

So sad. Go take a look at John Warren's Facebook page and you won't see any plan to help the homeless off our streets. Nothing about getting the ladies on Beach Blvd. to go away. No mention of all the closed businesses up and down Beach Blvd. Not working on repairing and reopening Stanton parks. Not working on tax reductions either. What is he doing on the city council if he's not working on our biggest issues!? I told you so!
2026/2027 Parking Permits
From Stanton's facebook page:
Mark your calendars! 2026/2027 Parking Permits will be available beginning November 1, 2025 for residents who live in permit parking areas. We recommend obtaining your permit as early as possible since parking enforcement will begin January 1, 2026. As a reminder, current permits will expire on December 31, 2025.
Parking permit areas are created when a neighborhood petitions to enforce permit parking in their area. If your neighborhood would like to apply for a new parking permit zone, applications are available at the Public Works counter at City Hall.

Contact Victor via email: VBarrios@StantonCA.gov
Councilmember Victor Barrios: Not working on removing the ladies from our streets, not working on stopping more business from moving out of our small town, not working on removing the homeless from our parks/streets/flood channels/railroad tracks. Victor has been busy raising our fees instead of lowering our taxes and high cost of living.
09/12/2025 Beach Blvd.
This area is directly across from the converted homeless motels on Beach Blvd. Seems like there is always someone living on the sidewalk in this area. Can't figure out why. There aren't any resources in this spot. Odd.
09/13/2025 Beach Near Orangewood
Been seeing this guy living on Beach near Stanton Park and sometimes Katella near the other side of Stanton Park. No Homeless Outreach Team, no cops, no Illumination Foundation, and none of the other 20 homeless non-profits doing anything either. Not one organization stepping up to take responsibility for the problem but seems to be stepping up to take your tax money.
09/17/2025 Post Office
Women walking up and down Beach Blvd. all day are dressing differently these days. I mean, sensible shoes, purse... If I didn't see her about 46.5 times a week I would think she was just a person walking home or something.
09/18/2025 Magnolia And Railroad Tracks
Years ago our Mayor published a story claiming that he is going to put a stop to the stolen shopping carts in Stanton. I didn't believe the story so I never mentioned it to you. And, as we can see here, a stolen shopping cart. So, you can see why I never repeated that story. I didn't believe the mayor then and we can see why.
09/21/2025 Beach And Cerritos
Read story above.
09/21/2025 Beach Near Main
Looks like a regular person walking home or something. Except when she is on Beach Blvd. all day long...
09/23/2025 Beach and Railroad Tracks
Young woman walking the streets... no Anti-Trafficking Advocates or Victim Services Providers. The city seems to care last year but why not this year?
09/21/2025 Post Office
This woman is on Beach Blvd. all the time. She should run for city council.
09/21/2025 Bus Bench Girl
I took this photo then thought I might have made a mistake. I mean, a woman sitting on a bus bench with nothing in her hands. Seemed like she might be working Beach Blvd. Or, maybe not? Well, look at the next photo...
09/22/2025 Near Pacific
Ah-ha! I noticed the same woman (bus bench girl) a day later walking up and down Beach Blvd. all day long.
09/18/2025 Beach And Main
Notice that in all my photos there are no cops. No anti-trafficking team. No nobody. Just women on Beach Blvd. waiting for a "ride".
09/18/2025 Beach And Pacific
Looks like help is not arriving. No Outreach Team, no cops offering a ride to our shelter, no Illumination Foundation, no CityNet or 2-1-1...
09/18/2025 Beach And Chester
A few years ago there were never women on this corner. Then, at night a few showed up. And now during the day.
09/17/2025 Beach And Second St.
When the ladies are on the streets during the day you should see it at night.
09/16/2025 Beach And First
Even during the day the ladies are on 1st St. What happened to all the "no human trafficking" signs on the sidewalks and the cameras on the streets? I guess the tax money dried up so nobody cares anymore.
09/15/2025 Pick Your Part
Living the dream camping at Pick Your Part on Beach blvd. I know someone that purposely became homeless BUT... he left renting a room in Stanton to become homeless in his car in Huntington Beach. He told me if he is going to be homeless then he might as well do it in a nicer area, not Stanton. He goes to the beach everyday, walks the pier, sees the airshows, hangs out on Main St., and works about 18 hours a week.
09/15/2025 Beach And First St.
What happened to all the "no human trafficking" signs on the sidewalks and the cameras on the streets?
09/14/2025 Post Office
One of Stanton's frequentest flyers on Beach blvd.
09/14/2025 Campero
See her on Beach Blvd. just about every day all day.
09/13/2025 Stanton Park
No outreach workers in sight. Help is not arriving. Tens of millions and tens of millions more of taxpayer money is gone and still homeless on the streets. Where did our money go?
09/13/2025 Stanton Park
Might as well kick rocks. Help is not on it's way.
