John Warren Stanton Commission
After failing to keep our parks safe for our children for so many years now park commissioner John Warren is running for Stanton city council.
Our parks have "folks in need of help" living in them and even our children's amusement park Adventure City has women (and one man) working on the sidewalks around it.
John posts on social media that he plans to do nothing about homelessness and cites they are protected.
While many cites in our area are using law enforcement to crack down on prostitution John posts that nothing can be done about the women working on the streets.
it appears that John believes that homeless and street walkers have more rights than us residents and taxpayers.
John, why run for city council if you have no willingness to improve the quality of life for us residents?

For many, many years Stanton's Park Commissioners have failed us. Homelessness has taken over our parks and children's play areas and the park commissioners do nothing about it. When will they begin to stand up for the children that want to play in a safe environment without fear or worry?
HAD ENOUGH YET?
How much worse do things have to get before they will finally begin to do something?
Why won't they create a plan to get the homeless out of the parks, children's play areas, etc... ?
Is there anyone on our side? They appear to be on the side of the criminal element first and us taxpayers and residents last.
Has everyone just given up? Why do they continue to refuse to do something?
This attitude of "Serving criminals first and taxpayers last" has got to stop.

Stanton's park commissioners don't seem to mind having your children play around the homeless at the parks and the children's play areas.

Residents dream of a day when children no longer have to play around homeless in the parks.
Leaving “folks in need of help” to sleep in the parks and children’s play areas is not showing compassion.
Ignoring the issue is not fair to Stanton families, children, or those in need of help.
